My child finds organic chemistry especially difficult so what can be done?
Yes, we do offer assistance because organic chemistry is mainly where A Level Chemistry students lose the most marks, mostly in mechanism drawing & multi-step synthesis questions. We build understanding step by step from functional groups through to complex reaction pathways & the arrow-pushing notation that examiners require.
My child wants to do Medicine. How important is the Chemistry grade & how can you assist?
A Level Chemistry is a basic prerequisite for Medicine, Dentistry & Pharmacy at almost every UK & international medical school, with an A or A* usually required for competitive programs. Our method combines intensive content coverage with the exam accuracy required to obtain the best grades.
Do you teach both Cambridge & Edexcel A Level Chemistry?
Yes. We offer tutoring support for both boards, covering all AS & A2 components. If you are not sure which board your child’s school uses, we can assist you to pinpoint it & confirm exactly which syllabus documents & past papers are useful.
Do you cover the practical and data analysis components of the course?
Yes. Both Cambridge & Edexcel include questions on practical knowledge, graph analysis, experimental design & interpretation of results. These are mostly underestimated by students & represent a meaningful opportunity to gain marks. We equip students with skills to handle these questions.
Can a student improve from a C or D to an A grade with the right support?
Yes. With organized planning, strong commitment & ample time before the exam, good grade improvements can be achieved. We have assisted many students from Al Jaddaf & the surrounding areas through the same journey. The key is identifying the weaknesses early & addressing them in the proper way.
How is A Level Chemistry tuition different from what happens in school?

Can you help a student who has fallen behind midway through Year 13?
Yes. Mid-year late tutoring is something we handle mostly. With several months still available we cover gaps systematically while building exam technique on the side. With only a few weeks left, we implement a structured intensive program focusing on the highest-yield topics & past exam papers. We are always candid with families about what is achievable & then plan accordingly.
Do you also support students taking A Level Biology or Physics alongside Chemistry?
Yes. Many of our students take Chemistry as well as Biology & Physics as part of a science-focused A Level combination. We provide tutoring across all three subjects & where a student is studying many science subjects, we assist across subjects to guarantee consistent exam methods & efficient use of revision time.
Do you offer online sessions for students who cannot always travel to JLT?
Yes. We offer fully online one-on-one sessions for students in Al Jaddaf, Business Bay & surrounding areas were travelling to our JLT centre is not always feasible. Online sessions are similar to in-person tuition, with shared learning aids, real-time problem-solving & progress updates. Many families opt for a hybrid method which mixes both.
What should I do if I am unsure whether my child needs tuition right now?
We usually advise students to start earlier rather than waiting for exam results to identify a problem. A short initial conversation with our team is enough to assess a student’s current academic status. Starting early almost always leads to better results than a last-minute push, particularly in a challenging subject as A Level Chemistry.
